About ChannelStrut
ChannelStrut is a specification database for strut channel framing hardware — the 1-5/8 in. metal framing system used across electrical, mechanical and solar construction in North America. It is run by Alex, a hardware sourcing specialist based in Fujian, China.
We buy and ship these parts. The data we need day to day — hole spacing, fitting dimensions, part weights, load figures — lives inside 200-page manufacturer PDF catalogs that are slow to open and impossible to search on a phone. So we pulled it out, re-verified every value against the printed catalog page, and published it as tables that load in under a second and print clean. Every table cites its source page, and every page carries a revision date so you can trace what you are reading.
Where the data comes from
We do not manufacture these parts. We source them — which turns out to be the more useful vantage point for a database like this. A factory sees only its own output. We see the same part number from several mills, so we know where a published dimension and a delivered part tend to disagree: plating thickness, hole position tolerance, the shipping weight that quietly runs light.
What we do
We source strut channel fittings and related hardware from the mills that produce them. If you need volume pricing, a size that is not in the published catalog, or a second source for a part you already buy, write to contact@channelstrut.com. That is the whole commercial side of this site — there are no ads and no affiliate links, and no table on this site changes because of what we happen to sell.
Independence and trademarks
ChannelStrut is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Atkore, Unistrut, or any other manufacturer named on this site. Unistrut® is a registered trademark of Atkore Inc., used here only to identify compatibility and cite published sources. All data is reference-only — verify against the manufacturer specification before ordering or loading.
Spotted an error?
Data accuracy is the entire point of this site. If any value here disagrees with a manufacturer catalog, tell us — corrections ship within days and the revision date updates.
